ST. LOUIS, MO – Officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported delays resulting from a car accident on I-70 Monday morning.
According to the official Twitter page of the Missouri Department of Transportation, the accident occurred shortly after 9:00 a.m. within the eastbound lanes of I-70 near Riverview Boulevard.

No injuries were reported as a direct result of the crash. However, the collision caused significant delays for commuters traveling into downtown St. Louis.
