JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO – A 29-year-old woman was injured on Sunday night when her car rolled over on Highway NN.
Brianna Boehm was driving a 2007 Buick Lucerne northbound on Highway NN near Dutch Creek Road. Around 6:37 p.m. on May 31, the vehicle ran off the road and hit a concrete culvert. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the force of the impact caused the car to roll over and then hit two mailboxes.
Police officers on the scene report that Boehm was driving above the speed limit at the time of the accident. As she was driving around a curve, the high speed caused Boehm to lose control of the vehicle and crash.
Boehm sustained moderate injuries in the accident and was transported to Mercy Hospital South for treatment.
The Buick was severely damaged during the accident and required a tow truck to remove it from the road.
At this time, the police do not believe any other vehicles were involved in the crash.
