Driver injured after vehicle hits utility pole

JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO – According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, one individual sustained minor injuries following a single-vehicle accident on southbound Hillsboro Hematite Road north of Dorothy Drive.

The accident happened at 11:35 a.m. after the driver of a 2012 Chevrolet Impala lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the left side of the road. Once off the road, the car continued until it hit a utility pole.

The Chevrolet’s driver, 31-year-old Travis Wallace, was transported to Mercy Hospital Jefferson.
