HAZELWOOD, MO — An accident Tuesday afternoon closed down two left lanes on Interstate 270 near Hazelwood, according to MoDOT STL Traffic.

The crash happened before the turnoff to James S. McDonnell Boulevard and was first reported at 12:38 p.m.
Area commuters were advised to use the center lane instead.

MoDOT STL initially estimated the crash would clear at 1:30 p.m. but clearance was delayed until 1:46 p.m.
