WASHINGTON COUNTY, MO – According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, two people sustained serious injuries after their vehicle ran off the road and overturned on Highway 8. The incident occurred Sunday at roughly 1:25 p.m.
The driver of a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier lost control of the vehicle and strayed off the left side of Saturn Road, then hit an embankment followed by a utility pole. The force of impact flipped the vehicle over.
Both the driver of the vehicle and another passenger were transported to Mercy Hospital South.
