TROY, MO – A man was killed in a head-on, multi-vehicle crash on State Highway W in Lincoln County this evening, according to information from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at 2910 SH W at 5:37 p.m., after the driver of a southbound 2007 Ford Escape, 62-year-old Winfield man Keith E. Canter, went over the center line and sideswiped a 199 Honda Accord being driven by 35-year-old Winfield man Abraham J. Kinne.
The Escape then crashed head-on into a 2020 Buick Envision being driven by 30-year-old Lacie L. Ridgedell, of Foley.
Canter, who was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt, was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Kinne and Ridgedell were not reported as injured in the crash.
