Kansas City – Motorists Injured in Shooting Incident

Two motorists were injured in a reported shooting in Kansas City Wednesday afternoon.

Local authorities received reports of a crash at the intersection of East 16th Street and Ewing Avenue. At around the same time, reports of gunfire were received by officials. Responders dispatched on-site discovered two motorists with gunshot injuries and both were immediately transported to the hospital for treatment. Authorities have yet to identify assailants in the incident and are currently investigating the case.
