A motorist was arrested following a fatal accident in Kansas City Saturday evening.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:20 p.m. at a still-unspecified location on the east side of the city. According to reports, a westbound Cadillac sedan struck two pedestrians before swerving off the roadway and crashing into a yard. The first victim, a 68-year-old Kansas City resident, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second victim was taken to the hospital and is currently listed in serious condition. Authorities have arrested the driver of the vehicle and are currently investigating the incident.
