ST. LOUIS, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol has reported an accident on I-64, west of State Highway K. The crash occurred yesterday at 2:30 p.m. and injured one.
The crash was caused by the driver of a Ford Fusion following a Nissan Titan too closely when it slowed down. The Ford hit the rear end of the Nissan. Then, the Ford traveled off the roadway, striking the median barrier.
The Ford’s driver, 66-year-old Gary Byrd, sustained minor injuries in the crash and was taken to a hospital via ambulance.
