PERRYVILLE, MO – A 70-year-old Perryville woman was injured in a rear-end collision on southbound US-61 on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Christina M. Roth, 47, was stopped on southbound US-61 in a 2000 Chevrolet Suburban to turn left. Jeanette M. Haley, 70, was traveling south on US-61 in a 201 Ford Escape and failed to keep a proper lookout. She rear-ended the Chevrolet north of PCR 511 around 3:09 p.m.
Haley was treated for minor injuries at Southeast Health Center.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
The Ford was totaled and the Chevrolet sustained extensive damages.
