HIGH RIDGE, MO – An 18-year-old woman was injured in a rear-end collision on westbound Highway 30 on Tuesday morning.
Shelby A. Miller, 18, was traveling west on Highway 30 in a 2007 Ford Focus when she rear-ended a 2015 Dodge Durango, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol. The accident happened east of Highway PP around 11:06 a.m.
A passenger in the the Ford, Breana R. Gayfield, was transported to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital for minor injuries. Gayfield, of House Springs, was not wearing a seat belt.
Miller and the Dodge driver, 76-year-old Marilyn L. Tanner, were wearing seat belts. Neither driver was injured.
The Ford sustained extensive damages and the Dodge sustained minor damages.
