25-year-old driver injured in Bridgeton County overturned-vehicle crash

BRIDGETON, MO – A 25-year-old driver was injured after crashing on the eastbound I-70 ramp to northbound I-270 on Sunday night.

Brendan O. Murphy, of St. Peters, was traveling on the eastbound I-70 ramp to northbound I-270 in a 2008 Nissan Altima when he failed to keep a proper lookout and traveled off the right side of the road, police report. The Altima overturned around 7 p.m.

Murphy was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital St. Charles for minor injuries. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Nissan was totaled.
