MEHLVILLE, MO – An 87-year-old woman died in south St. Louis County this afternoon when a home caught fire, according to KMOV.
The fire occurred in the 5300 block of Autumnwinds Drive in Mehlville at about 3 p.m.
An 87-year-old woman, who has not yet been publicly identified, was declared dead at the scene.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
No other injuries were reported.
The incident is under investigation by bomb and arson teams with the St. Louis County Police.
