Vehicle overturns on I-70 near Jennings Stations

St. Louis, MO – According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a driver on I-70 Monday evening lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a second vehicle, rolling over in the process.

The accident occurred Monday at 8:54 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 70 west of Jennings Stations Road. The driver of a 2000 Buick Enclave lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a 2012 Kia Optima. The force of impact from the crash drove both vehicles into the median barrier and caused the Buick to overturn.

Cherish Lowery, the 22-year-old driver of the Buick, received moderate injuries and was taken to Barnes Jewish Hospital. There are no reported injuries from the other vehicle.
