LAKE OZARK, MO – A truck accident knocked out the power in Lake Ozark, KRMS radio reports.
Over the weekend two people were injured after Erin Tiller, 37, lost control of her truck while on Carol Road and crossed the center line, causing her to collide first with a sign, then a driveway, and finally an electric pole.
Officials report that the force of the impact caused a second pole to snap, bringing all the electrical wiring down. The fallen wires crashed into the car of 40-year-old Anthony Martin.
Both Tiller and her passenger suffered minor injuries and were taken to Lake Regional for treatment.
Power was restored in the area by Sunday.
