2 injured after driver runs red light at Homer Adams Pkwy and Alton Square Mall Dr

ALTON, IL – According to The Telegraph, two people were injured after a driver ran a red light and collided with another vehicle at Homer Adams Pkwy and Alton Square Mall Dr Saturday.

A Toyota driver was on northbound Alton Square Mall Dr when it ran a red light at the intersection with Homer Adams Pkwy and collided with a pickup truck.

Emergency crews extricated the two occupants of the Toyota. The two injured people were then airlifted to an area hospital.

The Traffic Division of the Alton Police Department and the Metro East Crash Assistance Team are investigating the case.
