Brashear – Weekend Crash Injures Teen Motorist

A rollover accident injured a teen in Brashear midday Sunday.

19-year-old Joleen McClaughry was driving east on Highway 6 when her vehicle unexpectedly crashed about two miles outside Brashear. The car went off the roadway and overturned before stopping. McClaughry sustained undisclosed injuries — no word yet on hospitalization. She was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. Officials are investigating the incident.

Many rollover accidents have insidious causes, and investigators are expected to study all of them with the goal of establishing accountability in all cases. This is imperative if victims are to find closure. That said, instances of negligent or reckless behavior should open various legal avenues that aggrieved parties are advised to explore with the help of personal injury experts.
