LAWRENCE COUNTY, MO — A 59-year-old Springfield man suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 266 in Halltown, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Authorities responded to the accident at around 1:08 p.m.
A 2009 Chevrolet Silverado failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a 2012 Autocar truck.
The driver of the truck was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries. His condition is currently undisclosed. The crash report indicated he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The causing driving, a 23-year-old Ozark man, was not reported injured. His Silverado was totaled in the crash and the Autocar truck sustained extensive damage.
