Woman, child injured in 2-car crash on I-44 near Wildwood

WILDWOOD, MO – A woman and an infant child were injured in a two-vehicle crash on I-44 in western St. Louis County on Wednesday, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Destiny Arnsperger, 23, was traveling east near milepost 260 at about 3 p.m. on June 8 when she lost control of her 2012 Chevrolet Equinox. The Equinox spun into the path of a Freightliner semi truck, leading to a collision. Arnsperger and a 1-year-old girl in her car received minor injuries as a result of the crash, and were taken to SSM Health St. Clair Hospital for treatment.
