Two people injured in hit-and-run collision on Missouri 141

ARNOLD, MO – Two people were injured in a hit-and-run collision on northbound Missouri 141 on Sunday afternoon.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Sandra S. Burns, 51, was traveling north in the right lane on Missouri 141 in a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee. An unknown vehicle traveled into her lane and struck the left rear of the Jeep then fled the crash scene. The accident happened south of Old Missouri State Road around 3:14 p.m.

Burns and a female 17-year-old passenger in the Jeep were transported to Mercy Hospital South for minor injuries. Both were wearing seat belts.

The Jeep sustained extensive damages.
