WEST ALTON, MO – A 42-year-old male driver sustained moderate injuries after his 2010 Acura MDX traveled off northbound US-67 and struck several trees early Friday morning.
Michael Lauterwasser was traveling northbound on US-67 north of Highway 94 when he traveled off the left side of the highway and hit multiple trees around 5:50 a.m., according to police reports.
He was transported to Barnes Jewish St. Louis for treatment of his injuries. It is unclear what caused Lauterwasser to travel off US-67.
