ANDREW COUNTY, MO – One man is in police custody following a head-on collision that killed two people near Savannah Sunday evening.
According to KQ2, the collision occurred along C Highway just south of Country Road 180 shortly before 8:00 p.m.
The driver of a 2011 Dodge pickup truck when he crossed the center lane and collided head-on with a 2008 Chevy van. The two occupants in the van were killed as a result of the collision.
Police have charged 24-year-old Andrew Schneider with DWI in the death of two or more people, careless and imprudent driving, and involuntary manslaughter.
